Joomla! 4 is on the horizon

Do you know Joomla 4 is being developed? The latest alpha release is Joomla 4.0 Alpha 4 that was released on 27 July 2018 for testing, and as the Joomla's project roadmap, the first stable version will be released in the 1st Half of 2019.

When the Joomla 4.0 stable is released, it will be Joomla's new major version. Joomla 3.10 will be released alongside Joomla 4 as the last minor release of Joomla 3 as being announced here . Joomla 3.10 will have continued to be supported for 2 years giving you plenty of time to plan your migration to Joomla 4.

Joomla 4 intends to deliver more simplicity and a better experience for users and a more powerful system for developers. And it is firmly committed to be the best generation of Joomla!
