TinyMCE with useful feature of drag and drop images
These days, Drag 'n' drop images becomes a popuplar and need to have feature of any content management platform. So, this useful feature has been added in Joomla 3.5, users now can easily select any desired image from any places of his computer folder and drop it directly into editor content of TinyMCE. The uploaded image will be automatically saved in the root folder.
Count item
This feature helps website administrator to find the data of published, unpublished or trashed articles in the Category Management Section for articles, banner, contacts and news feeds quickly.
Plugin of Joomla Update Notification
PR plugin checks the new version of joomla core periodically. Whenever a new version found, notification email will be sent to Super User. Administrator can also specify list of email addresses to receive the update email
User Status Module
The status of logged-in users can be managed easily via the User Status module. When you go to the Joomla admin area, your can see the links to frontend and backen at bar the bottom for easy Joomla management. Change setting of module then you will be able to toggle the User status features on and off.
Option to open another admin screen in new window is also available on the module management panel.
Ability to add CSS Overriding Files to Protostar
The new feature in Joomla 3.5 allows users to modify Protostar easily. Instead of hacking the core or copy the template, now user can create a file named custom.ccss inside Protostar. Joomla checks if the file custom.css exists, the file will be loaded.
Gathering Anonymized Site Data
In order to understand Joomla users better, the core Joomla team created the plugin to collect anomymously Joomla Version, the PHP, database type and version that usser is running so that the accurate version of PHP and MySQL can be specified for furture Joomla Versions.
The module is enable by default, however, user can disable at any point time.
Downloading System/Environment Information
In Joomla 3.5, you can collect download system/environment information for support purposes. To enable this feature, go to System > System Information, you now can download the site's system and environment information.
